The Quick & Easy Celiac's Guide To Becoming A
Gluten-Free Expert
(& Practically Forgetting You
Have Celiac!)

Hi, I'm Amanda.
I help recently diagnosed Celiac kids and adults go gluten free with confidence so you can still enjoy food and have a social life!

As a Celiac of almost 20 years, I’ve gone through all the typical Celiac struggles-feeling weird for being GF as a child, mustering up the courage to say ‘no I can’t eat that,' bringing my own GF food everywhere, and asking the waiter ‘is this GF or regular?’ because we know it’s all too easy to simply say yes (and then we get glutened)!
My approach as a Certified Health & Wellbeing Coach is to help foster behavioral changes in your life to make living with Celiac easy and even fun!
Raise Your Hand If This Is Your Celiac Life:
1) You're asking a lot of questions and cringe from the embarrassment. Is that a new stick of butter? Did you wash your hands? Which brand of barbecue sauce did you use?
2) You've become a master hermit because you know you won’t get sick at home. You say you don't care but deep down, maybe you do?
3) You're on high-alert when eating outside the home just to not get violently ill. Talk about stressful!
4) You're remembering what you learned about speaking up for yourself from the 4th grade but that doesn't make it any easier! Just saw someone cut the GF cake with the serving knife that was just used for the gluten cake? Now, you've got to explain why you can no longer eat the special cake they got specifically for you!
5) You're bringing your own food everywhere! For all the birthday parties and barbecues, there are Celiacs across the country bringing their own cupcakes and GF hamburger buns, cooking their food in foil!
6) You find it laughable that GF bread is either teeny tiny or bigger with massive holes, but find it a little less laughable when you hear "GF food is gross," or“I tried going GF once and only lasted a week."
7) You're wondering if salad dressing is gluten-free or if you can still use the same toaster for GF bread as regular bread! These are important questions, people!
